Indulge in some festive treats with the Bake That Christmas Special. For the baking enthusiasts and the not so natural bakers alike, this event takes inspiration from a well loved TV show and brings everyone together in some culinary challenges.

BAKE THAT CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

The Bake That Christmas Special is your teams chance to get creative and take part in a bit of festive baking! You don’t need to worry about being the best baker as all instructions, equipment and help will be provided.

Groups will be split into teams and take part in three different challenges. The Signature Bake will test the teams abilities to bake a batch of traditional mince pies. The Technical Challenge Gingerbread is where things get trickier as teams bake their gingerbread cookies and have a go at icing them. The final challenge is the Showstopper Victoria Sponge. Teams will get to showcase their sugarcraft skills to decorate cakes with icing and handmade decorations.

Teams will be provided with their own cook stations, mini ovens and there will be expert chefs on hand to offer guidance, tips and techniques.

At the end of the challenges, teams will display their bakes to the judges who will have a taste and aware the winning team with Star Baker medals!

VENUE REQUIREMENTS

• A large indoor space (ideally a large meeting or conference space)
• Two Tables per team – One Team Table and One Trestle Table for oven
• Three Trestle Tables for Event Equipment
• Access to 1500 Watts at 6 Amps of power per oven

NEED TO KNOW

• This event is suitable for groups from 20 – 100
• Guests can be in teams of 5 – 8 people. If there are more than four teams, please check there will be suitable power points
• The event duration is approximately 2 – 3 hours depending on group size
• Team will require two hours set up time so will need venue access prior to the event
