Create your own version of the Olympics with Going For Gold, a fun, Olympic themed event designed to suit all skills and abilities. If you’re looking for an outdoor team building activity with a twist, look no further.

GOING FOR GOLD

Going For Gold combines a series of fun, Olympic themed challenges with a twist which are suitable for everyone. Teams will need to compete in each ‘sport’ to win medals and become Olympic Champions! The event will be lead by a professional costumed host and there will be Gold, Silver and Bronze medals presented to top teams in a winners ceremony at the end. Can you Go For Gold?

Challenges are a combination of physical and mental and can include the following –

Space Hopper Polo – Have you ever ridden an inflatable bouncing horse? Now you can!

Mini-Bike Match Sprint – Chris Hoy or Bradley Wiggins wouldn’t stand a chance in a cycling race against you on mini bikes!

Go With The Throw – A frustrating version of Javelin, Shot Put and Discus. Foam javelins, ping pong balls and paper plates will only go so far!

Dummy High Jump – Nobody will be expected to jump themselves but it’s up to you to work together and get a lifesize dummy over the bar.

Bobsleigh – Cool Runnings 2.0! How do you do the Bobsleigh without snow? If the Jamaican Bobsleigh team can do it then so can you!

Team Slalom – Work together in your team to synchronise your movements and navigate an obstacle course on skis.

School Races – Typical Old School Sports Day races to take you back in time such as Sack Race and Egg & Spoon.

If you’re looking for a team building event to build communication, coordination and leadership among other skills, Going For Gold does just that in a fun and engaging way.
