Thinking of an Oxford Hen Weekend? If you haven’t been to Oxford before you probably think it’s all universities and the River Thames……Believe it or not, Oxford is a dark horse in the world of Hen Dos! Here are some of the amazing things to do on your Oxford Hen Weekend.
A multi million pound refurbishment for 2018 has seen Oxford go from a few brand names to some of the TopShops (see what we did there?!) in the shopping industry. With shops from Primark to Ted Baker, there really is something for everyone.
As well as great shops, the new Westgate also benefits from the Westgate Social which houses Junkyard Golf Club for some mini golf fun. Head to the Westgate rooftop where you will find popular cocktail bar chain The Alchemist as well as the Curzon Cinema for some film magic.

- Adrenaline Activities
For the more active Hen groups, there are some real activities to get the blood going. Get your group on some Quad Bikes as you tear around the Oxford countryside.
If you fancy something a bit different what about Hovercrafts? Described as a land, water and air vehicle, it’s a must try if you want to do something you’ve never done before.
Failing that if you want to get some anger out you can always try some Clay Shooting!
- The Kassam Stadium Complex
The Kassam Complex is where all the big kids go to play. Home to Oxford United Football Club it is home to some top quality entertainment. You can have a go at bowling, go to the cinema or even play a bit of bingo!
Remember Laser Quest when you were a kid? Well now you can play as an adult with Laser Kombat! Drop and roll in a special arena and try to come out top in various Laser Kombat games.
If you fancy more of a mental challenge though then Escape Rooms is perfect. With themed rooms including a Harry Potter inspired challenge, you will have 60 minutes to solve clues and puzzles to escape!
