So you’ve been given the job of planning your mate’s Stag Do? It might seem like a tough ask but trust us when we say, it’s not as hard as it seems!
We’ve put together a step-by-step guide for anyone who’s a Best Man, Dad, Father-In-Law, Son or just a friend!
STEP ONE – Prepare The Guest List
First thing you want to do is sort the Guest List out. You’re going to want to start by talking to the Stag himself. The list may start out big but just go with it. It’s likely to drop by the time it comes to people actually having to pay money so you just need a rough number to get the ball rolling. Once you’ve got the Stag’s Guest List sorted it’s on to Step Two.
STEP TWO – Get Information From The Stag
Speak to the Stag and see what his preferences are. Does he want an action packed Stag Do in Liverpool? Or is he looking for some more relaxed Stag Activities in Oxford where he can just enjoy the company of his mates? You don’t want to go in all guns blazing, booking all the Stag Activities you want to do because ultimately, it’s about the Stag and what he likes. That’s not to say you can’t Stitch Up The Stag with a few activities such as Stag Life Drawing!
STEP THREE – Decide On A Location
Decide on a Stag Weekend location! Location is important because you want to decide on somewhere that’s easy to get to and within everyone’s budget. If you’re a group from Cornwall, you’re probably not going to want to spend all day travelling for a Stag Do in Edinburgh! Once your Stag location is decided, it’s time to start planning activities!
STEP FOUR – Choose Your Stag Activities
Once you have decided where you want to go, it’s time to choose your activities! Are you looking for something food and drink based? If that’s the case, we recommend the Bottomless Pizza and Beer experience. Who doesn’t love a night with all your friends with a few beers and some pizza right?! Or alternatively, if you’re looking for something a little more activity-based, have you seen our Old School Sports Day Stag Games? This event is perfect for an activity-based Stag Do with lots of competition between you and your group!
STEP FIVE – Choose Your Accommodation
Now that you’ve selected your activities and the location, it’s time to find your accommodation! This can be easily found on Booking.com that have lots of great accommodation choices for all locations! If you’re still not too sure, there are plenty of stag-friendly accommodation options! The Tower Hotel in London is a great option, but there’s also hotels in other locations as well! The Courtyard Oxford City Centre is perfect for an Oxford Stag Do! Alternatively, The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool and Hotel Football in Manchester are perfect Stag Accommodations!
STEP SIX – Enjoy Your Stag Do!
Now you’ve got your Guest List, got all your information from the Stag himself, planned your location and your activities, it’s time for the big event! You’ve done a great job planning the event, and it’s time to enjoy yourself and make sure the Stag has a great night!
