Life is a Rollercoaster
Life is a Rollercoaster
Enquire NowLife is a Rollercoaster, there’s no denying that fact. This fun yet challenging team building event requires high levels of communication and collaboration between teams. It entails the engineering of a ‘roller-coaster inspired contraption’, that can support a large ball on its journey from one team tower to the next, in a ‘chain reaction’ like sequence.
So how does it work?
You provide the teams, and we provide the blueprints and materials required. Teams will put together and construct rollercoaster-style structures that connect together to deliver the ultimate goal. If groups can remain consistent and collaborative throughout, then the finale is sure to guarantee an ultimate celebration of success!
The event begins with the event host providing a few energisers to focus the group, before explaining the main objective. Using paper rods and cable ties that are provided, the teams first construct a starting tower from the blueprints. Once this is built, it is up to the teams to organise all the starting towers in a suitable order and build the ‘swoop’ part of the rollercoaster that connects each tower to the next. The teams can be as ambitious as they like, including jumps and tunnels, but the main objective is to carry a ball to the next tower to trigger it. Once everything is built, the teams have one shot to make it work and show everyone what they’ve been working on. Will the rollercoaster work as planned?
