WHAT HAPPENS
Bakeathon is a completely mobile event which can be brought to any venue. You don’t need to have kitchen facilities as a pop up kitchen is provided including baking zones, ovens, demo stations and all utensils and ingredients. All you need to provide is the space and access to power.
Groups will be split into teams and get to watch fantastic demonstrations from professional chefs before being challenged with a variety of signature bakes. Each team can nominate a Head Chef who will oversee everything and guide their team. Teams are encouraged to experiment with flavours, baking techniques and creative flair.
Once all bakes are complete. the judges will inspect each teams creations, awarding merit based on presentation, creativity, teamwork and of course, how edible it is! The winner will be announced but there are no losers here as you get to keep your bakes to take home!
