Designed for laughter, suspense and plenty of surprises, this version is built for daytime team socials, evening entertainment, and Christmas parties where the goal is simple – have fun but keep everyone guessing!

Games of Deception turns up the entertainment factor for you and your guests in this interactive experience. With its mix of game show energy, mystery and immersive storytelling, Games of Deception is the perfect hybrid of our Betrayers experience and Office Games show. Expect lively audience participation, with guests stepping into the spotlight to take on hilarious challenges, quick-fire questions and on-screen tasks designed to amuse the whole room.

What Happens On The Day

There will be two sides among you…the Faithfuls and the Betrayers. The aim of the game is to earn tokens for your side through games, tasks and challenges and shift the Scales of Destiny towards either the light (Faithfuls) or the darkness (Betrayers). Whichever way the scales move will decide the ultimate fate of your side. Throughout the games, members of your table may be deliberately trying to deceive you but it’s up to you to work out who they might be…

The drama unfolds on a big screen with on screen videos to keep you immersed in the story of the Faithful and Betrayers, but this version focuses less on strategy and more on social fun, laughter and pure entertainment.  Your tables will also compete in mini games, from blindfolded challenges to multiple-choice showdowns. Even the occasional dance-off or impromptu performance might make an appearance!

We hired RCE for a major student welcome event held by our department within the University of Birmingham (their “Crystal Challenge” event). Not only did the team adjust to the English language levels of our students and remained conscious of this throughout (our department specialises in helping with and preparing non-native English-learning students for UK higher education), but they were fun, witty, and passionate about what they do! The communication from their team was top notice and they were able to adjust when there were issues with numbers due to student arrival dates. As for the event itself, the reviews from both staff and students were phenomenal! We all had an absolutely AWESOME time! Thank you so much for making the first major event for our students a blast and for helping them to form friendships that are still going strong to this day! We HIGHLY recommend RCE (this will be posted to Google Reviews, as well)!

A great experience using Red Cactus events for our staff meeting. Emily is brilliant and orgnaised a perfect day for our team. From the first contact, to getting the booking in place- it was very easy and Emily was always contactable for questions.
We hosted a meeting in the morning and then a sports day theme in the afternoon, whcih was outsourced to an activity company. The set up worked really well, great venue, great organisation and perfect planning! Our team all loved it and thank you again Emily!
