Inspired by a hugely popular task-based TV format, Festive Master of the Tasks brings a Christmas twist to one of our most entertaining team building experiences.

This seasonal version is designed to bring teams together through a lively mix of festive challenges, creative problem-solving rounds and laugh-out-loud moments. It is a brilliant choice for Christmas parties, office celebrations, end-of-year events and teams looking for something more interactive than a traditional festive get-together.

What Happens On The Day

Throughout the experience, teams will be faced with a series of Christmas-themed tasks and playful challenges, each revealed from the famous wax-sealed envelope. Every round is different, so guests will need to stay on their toes. Some tasks will rely on teamwork, others will call for individual confidence, while a few unexpected curveballs will keep everyone guessing.

Led by one of our experienced event hosts, teams work their way through a collection of festive-inspired games and challenges, collecting points as they climb the leaderboard.

The event ends with a final results ceremony, where the scores are revealed and one team is crowned Festive Master of the Tasks.

We hired RCE for a major student welcome event held by our department within the University of Birmingham (their “Crystal Challenge” event). Not only did the team adjust to the English language levels of our students and remained conscious of this throughout (our department specialises in helping with and preparing non-native English-learning students for UK higher education), but they were fun, witty, and passionate about what they do! The communication from their team was top notice and they were able to adjust when there were issues with numbers due to student arrival dates. As for the event itself, the reviews from both staff and students were phenomenal! We all had an absolutely AWESOME time! Thank you so much for making the first major event for our students a blast and for helping them to form friendships that are still going strong to this day! A great experience using Red Cactus events for our staff meeting. Emily is brilliant and orgnaised a perfect day for our team. From the first contact, to getting the booking in place- it was very easy and Emily was always contactable for questions.
We hosted a meeting in the morning and then a sports day theme in the afternoon, whcih was outsourced to an activity company. The set up worked really well, great venue, great organisation and perfect planning! Our team all loved it and thank you again Emily!
